Alex Cook is the Founder of Seaview Global Advisors, LLC.
With seventeen years of executive recruiting experience, he has led numerous senior level searches across a variety of functions within traditional and alternative asset management. Alex partners with investment management, insurance, private equity/venture capital, and banking organizations to attract top caliber talent. 
His specific expertise includes portfolio management/research, distribution, risk management/ compliance and general management recruiting engagements.

Alex was previously affiliated with Conley and Company in Boston where he was Head of the Asset Management Practice.  His recruiting career began in the Boston office of Korn Ferry International where he was a member of the Financial Services Practice.

Prior to his career in executive search, Alex worked in the organizational and talent management consulting industry with Personnel Decisions International, Inc.  Based in Boston, he was a member of the Executive Management Assessment Practice and worked with global asset management, insurance and banking firms.  Here, he specialized in competency-based management assessment and executive coaching for the development and selection of senior executives.

Alex holds a BA in Psychology from Hobart College and a MA in Psychology from Boston College.  He is an active member of the Alumni Board of Saint Sebastian’s School in Needham, Massachusetts as well as the Boston College Alumni Association.  Additionally, Alex volunteers his time supporting The Inner City Scholarship Fund and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Boston.

Sarah Wheeler has over 19 years of professional experience as an executive recruiter with a focus in asset management.  She specializes in the placement of senior investment, operations, distribution & risk management / compliance professionals for both asset and wealth management organizations. 

Additionally, Sarah holds additional expertise in, and passion for, diversity recruiting.  Previously, Sarah worked at Heidrick & Struggles, Egon Zehnder International, Whitney Group and Conley & Company.  Further, she holds internal recruiting experience at both Columbia Management Group and State Street Global Advisors.

Sarah holds a BFA from Emerson College. She is a dedicated yoga practitioner and an avid reader.  She serves on the Board of Directors for Samaritans and volunteers at Pine Street Inn and Animal Rescue League of Boston.
